Fall Series #7 Blown Out by Sandy

Only a couple of lightnings and a WETA sailor showed up for Fall Series #7.  The forecasts had been for 10-15 kts from the NE, building to 15-20 kts over the afternoon — certainly manageable conditions.  A few of the bigger gust lines of the day came through in the morning though (see SailFlow chart here), so we decided that as fun as it might be to blast around in the breeze, it wasn’t quite worth getting wet and beat up (and potentially breaking something).  So we all helped folks tie boats down or drop their rigs and then headed home to get ready for Sandy.
