We will be holding a fleet tuning day at on Saturday, August 3, beginning on 1:00 p.m., at Washington Sailing Marina (in the area around the cranes). I’ll be there along with some of the other experienced sailors in the fleet to help tune boats, go over rigging questions, and provide general advice. We’ve also had a number of new folks join the fleet recently, so this is a great chance to meet the newest members, catch up with everybody else in the fleet, and get ready for the fall racing season.
To help us plan, it’d be great if you could let us know if you’re planning on coming by filling in your name and boat number on the “who’s coming” form.
So bring your toolbox and your questions, roll your boat over to the area by the cranes, and we’ll get to work. If the weather is good, we’ll put a few boats in the water and go for a sail once we have them tuned up and ready to go! Oh, and come thirsty — we’ll have some beverages on hand too!
